AIDS Lifecycle

My Fundraising

I tried to leave nothing to chance.  I decided to find 5 businesses that would donate 500$ each.  For that I would sing their praises during my training and I created a advertising poster containing the logos from each business.   I found 5 businesses (My fabulous 5) and when I sent out my first fundraising email I got 2 more so my fabulous 5  became my sensational 7

Letters from the Road

The event will raise money for the critical services and education needed to meet the growing needs of our community.  Participants & donors will increase their awareness and knowledge about HIV/Aids, and address the misconceptions that HIV & Aids are no longer a problem.

2006 marks the 25th anniversary since the first reported case of what was later known as AIDS.  Worldwide at the end of 2006 39.6 million were living with HIV/AIDS, of that 17.7million were women, and 2.3 million children.

Each cyclist will be required to raise a minimum of $2500 to participate in the event.

How I did do? I raised 9,635$ & rode every mile
