Obey Stop Signs

The "Right Hand Rule" should be used at intersections, but most don't remember this handy rule so only go when your sure it's safe.

Be aware of all cars when entering an intersection

Be sure that a motorist knows you are there, don't assume they see you

 

Be careful when passing driveway in shopping areas.  Watch traffic closely for turning cars or cars pulling out of driveways

Always stop and check for traffic in both directions when leaving your driveway, an alley, or a curb. Some motorist often don't see cyclists
